Chad Blake- Captain & SCUBA Instructor- Chad has long been a favorite of our charter guests when on board Promenade. If there was anyone who would ever get favorite crew member it would be Chad!
Chad is well versed in Promenades ways, and has a great work ethic and fun outgoing personality.
Chad (Canadian) has been involved in family businesses since he was very small. He started helping out when his mother was involved with Hotels and Dinner Theaters, and spent a lot of time learning every role possible in a family restaurant for 7 years while a teenager. He has spent seasons working on Yacht Promenade in his younger days, and has consistently came back to help out when needed.
In between this, he opened up several bars, restaurants and nightclubs, and also became Regional Director of one of the top ten franchise companies (Vanguard Cleaning..which means the boat should always be spotless!).
Chad is well versed in the charter yacht industry.
Chad is equally at home in the galley as he is on the decks, and will always have a hand in the food preparation on board.
Chad is happy to take over and build on the success of the family business taking over from his parents, Kerry Hucul and Bazza Cooper. (Kerry and Bazza will do charters with Chad when it is wanted or necessary)
Felix Scotland is from Dominica. Felix originally trained as a auto mechanic, and starting working in BVI as an engineer on yachts 6 years ago. In the past 4 years he has worked with Bazza and Promenade, learning all aspects of the yacht .
Felix brings a touch of the Caribbean to Promenade, he is a keen fisherman, SCUBA diver and the guests love his dancing style. Felix is the only man that I know of who can catch fish with his hands. Felix also very cautious with guest safety being a high concern to him.
Chad and Felix are joined by a third crew member when necessary on charter.
