Not only do we recycle and reuse our water bottles, we refill them with super filtered (tap) water, we make iced tea in a large recycled bottle to save on more wasted plastic bottles or aluminum cans. We are also a sail boat, so we sail whenever we can to reduce our carbon foot-print. We also use real china and cups, no styrofoam or plastics here! We have "european style" shower handles, so the fresh water is not left running when not needed. The bathroom sink is equipped with a foot pump operated tap, so the faucet is not running needlessly while brushing one's teeth. |
