Captain Roger Perkins sailed from England in 1979 to circumnavigate the world. Arriving in the Caribbean, he was so taken with the beautiful islands, the people and the sailing, that he decided to stay and share his beautiful yacht way of life with others. Roger is a skilled engineer and enthusiastic sailor, who worked in the boat building industry in Guernsey for many years. He loves to help others learn and appreciate the finer points of sailing. He is a SCUBA diver and expert windsurfer.  Roger's British wit and humor adds a happy and entertaining atmosphere to any gathering.

Ellen (AKA Ronnie) Perkins hails from Southern California where in 1984 she left the bustling lifestyle and a career as a real estate broker to pursue adventure on the high seas. After several ocean passages crewing as navigator and cook on various yachts, she met Roger and Illusion II. Now Ellen is happily showing their guests the underwater world as well as treating them to her second love -- gourmet cuisine. You will be surprised and delighted at the quality and ingenuity that comes out of Illusion's galley.

Both Roger and Ellen are non-smokers.
